Contained is a study of inhabited, working buildings in and around London which have been created using rigid metal cargo carrying structures.
Ever increasing global mass-consumerism has led to the surplus of millions of abandoned shipping containers. Many architects and developers are addressing this problem, by creating innovative and characteristic working buildings at a cut price for the client, almost entirely made from these dis-used containers.

The visual marks the of the buildings reflect themes of transience, function, adaption, and the space as shelter.
